• Must have significant experience in operating production machines
• Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunction and the need for adjustment or repair
• Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
• Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine toolsMinimum requirements include, but not limited to:
  • Safety orientated
  • Currently holds a journeyman machinists card -OR the equivalent of 6 years direct machinist experience
  • Full understanding of manual lathes, surface grinders, and related shop equipment
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
    • Possess a team orientated attitude
    • Proficient with micrometers, calipers and indicators
    • A good mechanical aptitude and background is a must
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
    • Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedulePhysical Requirements
      • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
      • The team member frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear. -
      • The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
      • The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
