Operations Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations
Manager to oversee our automated distribution center. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations,
ensuring efficiency, and leading a team to achieve operational
excellence. This role requires a strong commitment to our guiding
principles, which emphasize inclusive decision-making, open
communication, employee well-being, continuous learning, ownership,
and accountability.
This position supports our 2nd shift operations, Monday - Thursday,
6:00pm - 4:30am; however, ability to work other shifts, including
weekends and holidays, is required.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and update training programs to align with
operational goals, policies, and industry standard
processes.
- Responsible for the onboarding process for new hires, providing
comprehensive training on company policies, safety procedures, and
job-specific tasks.
- Ensure all employees receive thorough safety training,
including the proper use of equipment, handling hazardous
materials, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and assess employee performance during training,
providing constructive feedback and working closely with management
to address any performance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and
employee progress.
- Generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of training
programs (Power BI, SCI/Cognos, etc.).
- Maintain and use Crocs Learning Management System. Develop
checklists, assigning training, monitor course completion for
operations, etc.
- Collaborate with department heads, Operations Managers,
Engineering, Safety, and Human Resources to ensure training
programs align with overall business objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between management
and employees, ensuring that feedback is received and addressed
promptly.
Operational Effectiveness:
- Manage distribution center operations in a union free
environment, ensuring and maintaining direct, productive, and
positive relationships between and among management and non-exempt
associates

ideas and feedback.What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor s degree in business, logistics, finance, or
industrial engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years DC general management experience in high
volume, big box environment required; 10 years experience
preferred
- Experience in an Omni-Channel Distribution environment
processing Wholesale, Retail and E-Commerce orders is highly
desirable
- Warehouse management / network systems experience required
(Manhattan Associates is a plus).
- Must be detail oriented, extremely organized and can take
initiative while maintaining operational excellence within the
center
- Must have the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure,
and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills and the ability to build positive
relationships with operations personnel and other key
partners
- Experience with continuous improvement and process improvement
methods
- Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsThe Company is an
