Volt is immediately hired as a Machine Operator in Groveport, OH



As a Machine Operator you will be:

Responsible for moving loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
Assembling pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
Following safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
Operating powered industrial equipment by OSHA guidelines and procedures.
Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
Measuring, recording, and adding random pipe lengths accurately.
Measuring and cutting pipe using band saws or torches.
Threading and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
Inspecting and maintaining forklift equipment


This is a Full-time Contract opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of machinery for the use of cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations - Preferred.
Experience of fabricating, machine operating, and equipment maintenance - Preferred.
Experience of hand tools and tape measure- Preferred.


Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
