Job Description:

Looking for a driven individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of our insurance offerings. The perfect candidate will focus on sales, acquiring new business clients, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring the satisfaction of our commercial customer base.

Responsibilities:
--- Develop and execute strategies to meet the sales targets outlined in the annual producer sales plan.
--- Identify and pursue new business opportunities among current clients and specific market sectors.
--- Contact potential clients to provide estimates and arrange sales appointments.
--- Evaluate clients' insurance requirements, review existing policies, and conduct Risk Management Reviews.
--- Collect comprehensive underwriting data, including survey information and loss histories.
--- Prepare and present thorough insurance proposals outlining coverages, limits, and deductibles.
--- Work closely with service staff to submit applications and choose suitable markets.
--- Hold meetings with clients and prospects to review proposals, renewals, and address any queries.
--- Introduce clients to service staff for ongoing assistance and direct service-related calls accordingly.
--- Keep informed of any claims or service issues and assist in resolving them as needed.
--- Support the renewal process by checking expirations, gathering necessary data, and preparing renewal submissions.
--- Maintain precise production reports and actively participate in sales meetings.
--- Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the local community.
--- Stay up-to-date on industry developments by reviewing trade publications and attending carrier training sessions.
--- Undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by agency management.

Qualifications:
--- The candidate must have a successful sales background, particularly in effectively closing sales deals.
--- Possession of an Ohio Property & Casualty license is mandatory, or the willingness to obtain one if not currently licensed.
--- A minimum of three years of sales experience is required for this role.
--- Holding a valid driver's license and having a properly insured vehicle for client meetings is essential.
--- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to unexpected interruptions is necessary.
--- Capable of sitting for extended periods of time.
--- Maintaining a professional appearance is expected in this client-facing position, including wearing appropriate business attire.
--- Willingness to travel to local client and carrier locations during the workday, with occasional out-of-town travel.
