Volt is immediately hiring for Welder in Groveport, OH.



As a Welder you will:

Be responsible for welding carbon outlets onto steel pipes to serve the fire sprinkler industry.
Perform specialty welding tasks, spool pieces, flanges, etc.
Mig welding works with Carbon Steel and Galvanized.
Welding role where the candidate will be MIG welding on Steel pipes.
Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry
Perform specialty welding tasks, spool pieces, flanges, etc.
Inspects work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seem split in pipe.
Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance.
Reports on all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and repairs


This is a full time, Contract opportunity.



The ideal candidate will have:

1 year of MIG welding experience.
1 year Machine operation experience.
Welding experience is strongly preferred-Mig Welding in Flat position.
General computer skills.



Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
