  • 36 or 48 hours
  • For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid out after 48 hours
  • Looking for strong Ortho checklist
  • Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients
  • Miami Valley Hospital (level 1 Trauma Center)
  • Medical Surgical Orthopedic patients - most commonly taking care of patients with traumatic hip fractures, elective spine surgeries, and other traumatic orthopedic injuries.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must pass an online EKG competency course
    • BLS required
    • NIH required
    • EPIC experience required
    • 1.5 years exp in a level 1 or 2 preferred
    • Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
    • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
    • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
    • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
    • Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

          • Additional Details
          • I9 required per contract
          • Government Issued Photo ID is required
          • Everify required per contract
          • Required if the candidate has a different name on their documents
          • Required if the candidate will be using a Compact Nursing license that differs from the state in which they will be working.
          • AHA Only - NON-AHA certifications are only acceptable as placeholder while AHA certifications pending completion.
          • Required within 12 months prior to start and must be updated annually even if states good for 2 years on certificate.
