  • Job Details
  • For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours
  • NO BLOCK SCHEDULE
  • 36 or 48 hours
  • 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
  • Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6
  • Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients.
  • No more than 7 days of RTO will be approved
  • NO LOCAL
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN ONLINE EKG TELE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO STARTING ASSIGNMENT
  • Must Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • Must read and interpret strips
    • Must have or be willing to obtain NIH
    • Minimum 2 years experience in large hospital level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience
    • Travel experience preferred
    • Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
    • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
    • Travelers are not eligible for Premier Health Employee incentives

        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Specific Competency Exam must be within 2 years prior to start
        • Required for all RN units except the following: Antepartum, Behavioral Health, Family Birth Center, Inpatient Rehab, Interventional Radiology, IV Therapy, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Nuclear Cardio & Stress, Nursery, Nursing Administration, Postpartum
          • Additional Details
          • I9 required per contract
          • Government Issued Photo ID is required
          • Everify required per contract
          • Required if the candidate has a different name on their documents
          • Required if the candidate will be using a Compact Nursing license that differs from the state in which they will be working
          • AHA Only - NON-AHA certifications are only acceptable as placeholder while AHA certifications pending completion
          • Certifications that are expiring within a week of start must be renewed and will not be accepted
