The Indiana University School of Medicine's Department of
Surgery, Division of General Surgery and IU Health Physicians are
actively recruiting a full-time general surgeon with foregut and
bariatric surgical training to join the faculty at the assistant or
associate professor level. The ideal candidate should be
comfortable addressing complex surgical problems that are
encountered at a tertiary/quaternary medical center. In this role
you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative group of
surgeons and APPs while providing exceptional general surgery care
within the Indianapolis area. Clinical teaching is the mainstay of
educational duties with opportunities to interact with medical
students, surgical residents, and fellows in the office, inpatient,
and OR settings. In addition, there are nonclinical didactic and
simulation-based teaching opportunities offered in the Department
of Surgery Skills Lab. As part of the Indiana University School of
Medicine Division of General Surgery and IU Health Physicians, you

- American Board of Surgery board eligible/board certified

- Experience or training in an academic setting
