TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down, Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU), Cardiac Progressive Care (CPCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights 7pm - 7am Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years, including 1 year in PCU or ICU License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to work every other weekend - Capability to float to different units as needed Job Description: - Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit, attending to patients with medical, surgical, and cardiac needs. - Administer and monitor arterial lines and CVP. - Manage vasocactive drips, surgical tubes, and drains. - Operate CPAP, BiPAP, and mechanical ventilation via ETT or tracheostomy. - Assign patient caseloads based on acuity with an expectation of a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio. - Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care planning. - Required to work during holidays as scheduled.
