Job Description:
The Premier Health Physician Network is in search of an
exceptional Chief Medical Officer who is inspired by the chance to

include:
- Continuously monitor outcome measures and develop action plans
when necessary
- Participate in utilization review and peer review
- Partner with Quality and Clinical teams to ensure high-value
care is delivered to patients, minimizing unnecessary expenditures
and maximizing quality
- Actively support physician participation and implementation of
quality and service improvement initiatives
- Support physician engagement through outreach as well as
performance improvement activities
- Develop, update and maintain clinical standards and care
paths
- Support the development of physician and advanced practice
RN/physician assistant leaders
- Partner with physicians, APPs and other system administration
to support strategic plans and endeavors
- Manage assigned medical director contracts and help establish
yearly quality metrics to drive desired results
- Participate in hospital and system committees
- Provide insight and best practice consultation to clinical
leadership as it relates to the service aspects of the patient
experience
- Coach and mentor physicians and staff to perform to standards
of excellence
- Lead continuous quality improvement efforts
- Facilitate cross-functional and functional problem resolutions
and lead cross-functional committees
- Solicit staff and physician input to determine priorities and
required resources
- Partner with the Dean of Wright State University's School of
Medicine/Premier Health Chief Academic Officer to support graduate
medical education, undergraduate medical education, and allied
health programs. Ensure alignment of academic programs with quality
initiatives/compliance with system policies and procedures.Benefits

Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in a relevant specialty
- A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, with at least 3
years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of implementing innovative clinical
programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and
communication skills
- Commitment to ethical principles and healthcare excellence
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
- Experience in academic practice settings
- Ability to collaborate with teams and adapt to changing
